About

I’m Wulan, a ceramic artist, designer, photographer, content creator, mother, and storyteller based in Montréal.

My journey with clay began after becoming a mother. It was a way to reconnect with myself and nurture creativity amidst the new rhythms of life. What started as quiet moments at the wheel soon grew into a practice rooted in mindfulness, balancing motherhood, and embracing the beauty of imperfection (Both in clay and in life).

Clay became my grounding medium. One that reminds me to slow down, soften into stillness, and embrace the intentionality of slow craft. Each piece I create is more than functional ware and it’s a vessel of calm, designed to bring ritual and reflection into everyday living for both myself and others. As a mother and artist, I’m inspired daily by the simple rituals of care, play, and stillness. My collections, which varies from tumblers and matcha bowls to incense holders and small home vessels are handcrafted in small batches, allowing each piece to carry its own character and soul.

With a background in graphic design and illustration, I’ve always been drawn to form, texture, visual storytelling, and meaningful connections. Over the years, my creative practice has expanded to include photography and content creation, where I help capture stories, moments, and brands through thoughtful imagery and video. Whether working with clay, a camera, or a design project, I am inspired by the power of creating experiences that feel authentic, intentional, and human.

Alongside my collections, I’m always happy to create custom pieces. Whether it’s a special matcha bowl, a set of tumblers, tableware for your home or café, wedding favours, or creative content for your brand, I love collaborating on meaningful projects and bringing ideas to life.

Beyond the studio, I co-run Support Your Friends Market & Atelier with my husband, a community space dedicated to uplifting local makers and celebrating the stories behind their craft. Through this work, I continue to support fellow creatives through events, content creation, photography, and community-building initiatives.
